Father of three, happily married for over a decade and knocking on 40, I discovered salvation on two wheels in the summer of 2011.  I knew nothing about bicycles or riding and still do.

A series of inauspicious events led to the discovery of riding bicycles, an activity long abandoned after the acquisition of my driver’s license.  Once an activity to be scorned and ridiculed, I found myself asking my road-racing co-worker “Why didn’t you tell me it was this much fun?”.

Forged Cyclist is however neither fully forged nor much of a cyclist in the traditional any sense.  It’s a work in progress.
