I admit, I was pleased yesterday that I only had to deal with the wind, although my personal-worst 53 minute ride home was a bit of a let down.

This morning greeted me with not quite a pea soup thick fog, but close. I found myself cursing my riding glasses as the fog was leaving tiny droplets on them to the point where I was trying to squeegee them with my gloved hand every few minutes to prevent being completely blind (it turns out that pot holes hurt even more when you don't see them coming at all, no damage though). It went like that for the first 10 minutes, then I found that there was so much moisture in the air combined with the moisture leaking out of my face that the inside of the glasses were also fogging up, it is much harder to squeegee the inside. So there I was biking along contemplating whether I wanted to be temporarily blind for this ride, or take off the glasses and risk being blind for life. I chose the glasses and took each red light stop as a good occasion to remove and madly wipe lenses!
